Wareham St Mary Primary School – learning to be extraordinary!

We feel that this extraordinary time has shown our children, parents and staff to be just that – extraordinary!

During these strange and uncertain times of the Coronavirus, Wareham St Mary Primary School has remained opened. We wanted to support our local community and provide care for our key worker families, vulnerable children and those with extra needs whilst also supporting those at home with structured timetables and online learning links.

From day one we pooled our resources with two other local schools, St Mark’s Swanage and Corfe Castle Primary. This enabled the children to access the very best consistent care, 5 days a week, with their safety – and that of our staff – remaining our priority. Now that there are more children back at school we are again adapting to the latest set of regulations and requirements.

We are all wishing for the day that we can be back together as one large Wareham St Mary family...

‘Would just like to say thank you for all the excellent support you are giving to us parents at the very strange time’. Mrs Aston-Pilon (parent)
