Artists come together to raise money for MNDA research
This weekend Art4Action has organised a very special one off Art Exhibition at the Haven Hotel in Sandbanks. Four local artists have come together to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
A year ago local artist Cliff Towler lost his sister Annie to MND. This special exhibition, in her memory hopes to raise money for MNDA research into finding a cure for this terrible disease.
A Purbeck Perspective

Cathy attracts increasing acclaim with her stunning coastal scenes. renowned for large watercolour seascapes. Being a keen sailor, she takes inspirations from the beautiful Dorset coastline.
‘My work is my life. Everywhere I have been, everything I have seen and everything I have done can be found reflected in my wildlife studies of the natural world.’
At 21 Ian set off across Europe recording his travels in watercolour and painting portraits to pay his way. This instilled a love of the Mediterranean which continues to influence his work today.
Rob gave up his commercial work as an illustrator, film and TV set designers to devote his time to painting en plein-air. He enjoys landscapes and townscapes, capturing their moods and beauties in oils.
Haven Hotel, Sandbanks
The art exhibition is taking in the lounge of the Haven Hotel at Sandbanks with absolutely stunning views. A wonderful backdrop for some inspirational artworks. Please come along. Open from 5 pm on Friday 24th June and from 10 am on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June.
