Our turn to help...
With the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the whole world, and the decision of UK Government to lockdown the country to save people’s lives, we were really worried about our business and our loyal customers.
We thought that it would be a good decision to help our valued customers during this difficult time who have always helped us since we opened in 2014. With the news of the shutdown the majority of local businesses closed their doors, and it was a very difficult decision to open our restaurant under these new challenging circumstances.
However, we thought that this is our turn to help our customers, while of course completely obeying government guidelines in being safe – both for ourselves and most importantly, our vulnerable customers.
With our decision to open for takeaway service, we started with home deliveries within a 7 miles radius, and sometimes up to 12 miles free of charge for vulnerable people. That was the right decision for us, and customers were very, very happy to see us delivering to their doors.
We are more than happy to do deliveries to those who are vulnerable and can’t come out, even if it is far from us, or less than the minimum order. We are offering competitive prices for freshly cooked quality food. Our takeaway menu is different and 10% cheaper compared to our dine-in menu. Our Chef especial main courses are served with some accompaniments which cost cheaper than the traditional curries, and we recommend to have our chef especial dishes to find our specialty.
Fine upmarket Nepalese and Indian Cuisine
We are well-known for our fine-dining restaurant and was challenging to manage a 7 to 10 miles delivery within an hour’s time slot, but we managed to serve customers on time, serving freshly cooked food to their door, keeping both customers and staff safety first.
We are taking online orders as well as telephone orders and customers can pay online as well as over the phone. Our main business motto is to offer fine upmarket Nepalese and Indian Cuisine set in comfortable, fresh and modern interior with soft lighting and warm ambiance.
Diners can enjoy a variety of dishes from an extensive mouth-watering menu. Food is cooked fresh on the premises using the finest local produce, fresh ingredients and spices offering dinners a balanced, flavoursome, and delicious taste to remember, which now can be on your own dining table at home.
Our executive chef Mr Khim Lal Kharel has worked in luxury hotel groups especially “The Taj and Oberoi” which includes many locations across India, Dubai and Nepal, along with being chef in some of London’s most prestigious Indian restaurants. He has created his own menu to take Indian and Nepalese cuisine “beyond authenticity”, with an emphasis on refined yet creative Indian and Nepalese food. The menu incorporates both traditional classic favourites and original new dishes that apply eastern flavours with a western twist.
Helping Local Heroes
We are offering a 10% discount for NHS workers and Police Officers (our Local Heroes).
We are also doing free meals for Wareham Surgery on Tuesday lunchtimes around 12.30, and at Swanage Hospital on Wednesdays around 1.00 pm.
We would like to thank everyone who is helping us in this difficult situation, and a thank you for your understanding if we are taking bit more time than normal. We don’t want to reduce our quality of food from our extensive menu; and so it might take longer to come to you, but when you get it, you know why it is taking longer to come out! If you are vulnerable and need help, we are always here to help.
We recommend to order and pay online via our app from play store and google play to avoid long queues on phones.
